Another Eagle Lands in the Nest

This past weekend we had the opportunity to celebrate another achievement in our family. Levi successfully completed all of the requirements to receive the rank of Eagle in the Boy Scouts of America during early fall of 2014 and this past Saturday we had the chance to celebrate his achievement. It was a great program with all of his siblings participating - Noah conducted, Leah read a poem on Eagle Scouts and Seth recounted Levi's accomplishments as a scout as well looking ahead to his own scouting program. Uncle David was able to fly in from Arizona with his oldest son Hyrum and also participated in the Levi both a military coin as well as a United States flag that was flown in David's Apache helicopter during his deployment to Afghanistan.

I have included a few pictures (the lighting was terrible, so I only took a couple) along with the video I put together for the court of honor program. I have also include a link for family members that wish to watch Seth, Leah and David do their part of the program. You can find the recordings at:

I am certain Seth will follow in the footsteps of Dad, Noah and Levi as he loves working on scouting requirements. He is thinking he will probably earn his Eagle sometime when Levi is serving an LDS mission in ~3.5 years. Time will tell, but it will be here before we know it.
