The Silent Guardian (or this one's for you PJ)

We recently had the opportunity as a family to participate in an open house and dedication for a new stake center of the Brighton Colorado Stake. There are some remarkable stories that took place in the planning, purchasing and building process of this wonderful building. As the church continues to grow in Eastern Colorado it was necessary for a new building to be erected to give our other two buildings a slight reprieve in occupancy. We now have three wards in all three buildings and our family is fortunate enough to attend this building on a weekly basis - usually multiple times a week.

Doesn't it look remarkable!? As a silent guardian its spire rises high into the air pointing heavenward as a reminder to all that there is hope in an often tumultous World.

This was a collaboration project with Levi. We both went out on this evening to shoot the Barr Lake building and then worked together on our editing. I took the first two pictures and Levi had the last one. I love how much sky Levi was able to get in his photo. Enjoy.
