Spreading His Wings

Graduation NightTaking it all in with his siblings and loving his graduation present. I can't believe my little boy has grown up in front of my eyes. It seems like just yesterday that I was anxiously awaiting his arrival into this big world. In my mind, I can still hear our 1950 red brick home filled with the sound of pitter-patter as he ran through the house with his bare feet on the wood floors - laughing as his younger brother trailed behind. Last night I watched him walk in his high school processional and graduate. He has always been an exceptional student in the world of academics and will be successful in his post high school education, I have no doubt.  The thought of him leaving our home fills me with joy and sadness at the same time. He will be a great missionary, husband and dad - I hope that I was a good enough example for him and taught him correct principles often. I also hope that he has learned from my many mistakes and shortcomings. I can't wait to see what his potential brings, for I know he will reach it. I couldn't feel more blessed to have Noah as my oldest son. I love you Noah... - Dad
